KellyUGuerrero and WiringByron appreciated you both being so candid and sharing for this episode :)
I listened last night, good one. Enjoyed this talk. Erin,
This is the sort of episode where I think if it wasn't in a polished podcast format like this, we could definitely get a little bit deeper. Especially with so many business owners that have large family responsibilities at home. It's something a lot of people can really relate to, and also a lot of people are struggling with this.

Be great to keep the conversation happening here! Something I've seen come up a lot recently is the dynamics between family and a partner when the husband/wife/partner is also active in the business. That's a lot to navigate and can be hard to navigate.

That was my life for 10 years. It was grueling sometimes when EVERY conversation was about work. Even if one of us was trying to unplug, the other was "in the zone". For me, I liked to "clock out" at 4pm when the kids got home from school and be present with them and not turn work back on until the next day. My husband "clocked out" earlier (when he had finished that day's tasks) but then his mind would start working thinking of all the work that was pending for the next day and at 8PM want to ask about this job or that and I would LOSE IT because I was trying to maintain my boundary and I felt it wasn't being respected. It was a lot of compromise, learning how the other one works and manages their responsbilities in the business and I can candidly say that it was the toughest part about working with my husband.
