You’re spot on—Jobber’s built-in request forms aren’t really built for interactive quizzes or lead magnets. Since native forms lack conditional logic, the standard workaround is building the quiz externally and routing the lead into Jobber via Zapier.
Here’s how most people set this up:
Option 1: Quiz Builder \rightarrow Zapier \rightarrow Jobber & Email
- Build the quiz: Use a tool with logic branching (Typeform, Outgrow, or Interact) and embed it on your site.
- Set up the Zap:
- Trigger: New quiz submission.
- Action 1 (Send Results): Send customized quiz results via the quiz builder's native email tool, Zapier (Gmail), or Mailchimp.
- Action 2 (Jobber): Select Create Work Request in Jobber. Dump the quiz results directly into the request's Instructions/Notes field so it's all right there for your team.
Option 2: Mailchimp Form \rightarrow Zapier \rightarrow Jobber
If you're using a Mailchimp landing page or popup:
- Lead fills out the Mailchimp form/quiz, triggering Mailchimp's automated email sequence.
- Zapier Step: Trigger on New Subscriber in Mailchimp \rightarrow Action Create Work Request in Jobber.
Quick Tips
- Avoid Duplicates: In Zapier, use the Find or Create Client step first so it checks for matching email addresses before building a new profile.
- Plan Check: Make sure you're on Jobber's Connect or Grow plan so you have Zapier access.
Hope this helps out!!!
