Thinking about marketing systems like a Letter Boxed puzzle

Hi everyone,

This is an interesting way of thinking about marketing it reminds me of the game Letter Boxed where you have limited letters around a square and the challenge is to connect them in the most efficient sequence possible.

In a similar way marketing in Jobber often feels like working within constraints:

limited time, budget and attention

multiple touchpoints that need to connect smoothly

and the goal of turning scattered interactions into a clear customer journey

What stands out in both cases is that success is not just about doing more it is about building efficient chains that reduce friction.

For example strong systems often look like:

a simple but consistent follow up flow

a reliable referral loop

and a well optimised online presence that feeds everything else

It feels less like adding complexity and more like finding the cleanest solution path through constraints.

Curious how others here approach this do you ever think of your marketing setup as a kind of puzzle where the goal is to reduce steps and connect everything more cleanly?

I mapped out the customer journey, where leads come from, what happens and when, then addresses the friction points from then on. I used that diagram for different marketing companies so they can visually understand what's happening. I think this is probably the most valuable exercise I've done. I continually look at it too. Just to make sure it's still consistent.
