Automatic Yearly Reminders

Hello everyone,

We've been in the water softening and filtration business for over 25yrs.  Just switched over to Jobber and trying to figure out how to set automatic yearly service reminders via text to customers.  It doesn't seem like it can be done within jobber alone.  I may need to use an external platform and export lists from jobber to that platform on a monthly basis.  Is anyone doing something like this and if so, how are you doing it?

Thanks

Ernie

  • Hey Ernie,

This should certainly be doable through an API integration. How many clients are we speaking of? 100, 1,000, 10,000? Feel free to shoot me a message, and I can explore this for you.

Hey Ernie! Thanks for the question, depending on your end goal, we may have some workarounds for you.

Jobber does not currently have a mass text feature, however, you could do an email campaign with our Marketing Tools.

Another suggestion would be to create recurring jobs on a year bases, and use the automatic visit reminders to inform clients. To set these up, you can use this Help Center article as a reference.

If you have any questions on how to make these workarounds work for you, do not hesitate to contact our Success Team, by phone 888-721-1115 ext 1 or email support@getjobber.com

Basically, I'm trying to automate the process and minimize the need for a CSR to initiate the contact.  It's a yearly reminder that would go out automatically to customers to remind them its time for their filter change and to schedule it with us.  I have the marketing suite was looking at the campaign tool, which is fine, however, email notification is historically lower open rate than text.

I'll reach out to see if the Success team has any ideas.

      Thanks

  • Hey Ernie,

You could use a couple of tools and a basic scenario here to set something up that is hands-off and will update as you continue to add new customers. We use Make for auomations and Twillio for SMS.

If you don't have any luck with Jobber Success let me know
