AI & Lead Gen for Service Based Contractors
Any service based or fence contractor businesses interested in helping each other in AI and Lead generation I have created some really helpful Automation and AI tools that I use every day that have helped my business out tremendously. Like: AI Answering phone calls, determining call intent, and then sending me an email right when call ends. No missed calls. Scrape google businesses in any zipcodes based on search terms (great for marketing B2B) Find emails from list of websites Automated Wordpress Blog Posts based on keywords Mass Email sender (so it looks like it comes from you personally). The only non free ai tool is the AI Answering assistant, but it is super cheap. What I am currently struggling with is getting consistent lead flow. I'm only doing Google ads, but wanted to see what other ways are working for you to generate leads. Would be happy to discuss the above with anyone that currently owns/ operates a service based business.18Views0likes0CommentsLooking for Landscape Design Software & Training!
We launched our landscaping division last year with great success. We are looking to implement a landscape design software and wondering what others are using. We mostly do yard makeovers, garden design and some light hardscaping. We would like a software that is user friendly but not too basic. The 3 that have come up when we are searching is Dynascape, Pro Landscape+ and Procreate. We are curious what other landscapers are using and why? Also, any advice on training for the recommended software. Thanks!135Views0likes4CommentsThe Handyman Business Machine: Non-Negotiables for Scaling
Non-negotiables that turn a handyman business into a repeatable machine—systems that make the business operate whether you “feel like it” or not. Think standardized scope, flat-rate pricing, SOPs, quality control, scheduling discipline, job costing, and a comp plan that rewards speed + quality. If you had to boil scaling down to 5–10 tenets, what are yours—and which ones moved the needle the most? Make sure they are measurable actions and results. “What doesn’t get measured doesn’t get done.” - Peter Drucker101Views2likes5CommentsHow can I start a junk removal business with little to no money?

Would love the option to select email templates. HAd that on a previous crm. for what im doing right now. i do lawn care. i have renewals i am sending out, previous customers im sending them quotes, and reaching out for other customers who used me for other services. they ea need their own opening email. on top of i offer prepay to current customers. it would be nice to be able to select the template for it to drop in where appropriate. sure have the super generic one, but sometimes they need a bit of love. as of now my work flow looks like this. create the email templates in a word document. go to create quote. then email customer. go to word document and copy and paste. yes it works. would be nice to be in house. also for the searching of templates, i will say it can get cluttered. it would nice if you open email, there is the super generic email. a button to the side, replace with a template, you click it creates a drop down menu. it would be great to have folders, that templates can be in, and then you click that folder to get where you want. they can all be there as one list, but the folders, should in theory make it easier to find what your looking for especially, if one is bad a naming them. for me it would look like (big folders) all my main services, mowing aeration seeding, christmas lights. under that i would have current customser former customers prepay email (as thats a seperat thing) etc. not sure if that makes sense.28Views0likes0CommentsHow do junk removal businesses build systems and processes as they grow?
I co-own a junk removal company in South Carolina. We have seen fairly rapid growth over the last 3 years and are now looking to create more structure within our business because we are approaching the size where we can no longer handle all of the management on our own. We are trying to write down systems and processes to build an operations manual/playbook, buuuut neither my business partner nor I are gifted with systems/organization/implementation... Does anyone have any good advice on where to start, especially for vision/big picture-oriented entrepreneurs? Thank you! What systems help cleaning business owners stay profitable as they scale?
We have been in business for 16 years now. We had some great growth and I do wonder at times if I am doing things right - ok I wonder all the times LOL. What systems have been successful for your cleaning business (mostly residential) to ensure growth and profitability? Would love to learn!
