Do you know your Home Service Community Coaches?

We want to make sure you know who they are!

Our Community Coaches are experienced home service pros from diverse trades and backgrounds who are active in the forum and genuinely here to help. Whether you're navigating a tough business decision, looking for advice from someone who's been in your shoes, or just need a second opinion, these are the people to ask.

Greg - [HUGEHomePros]
I'm a general contractor with 6 years of experience in the business, starting as a handyman brand, growing into a remodeling company. These days, I help pros with their marketing strategies, operational challenges, and avoiding the same mistakes I made early on!

Judith - [judithvirag]
17+ years in the cleaning industry. These days I spend a lot of time helping other pros with building their teams and strategic management of the business and I wish someone had told me sooner about how to create culture.

Daniel - [PestFreeCanada]
I've been in pest control for 15 years. These days I spend a lot of time helping other pros with entrepreneurship and team management, and I wish someone had told me sooner about marketing and finances.

Anthony - [AnthonySalazar]
5+ years in pet waste removal, and I've spent most of that time figuring out how to stand out in a crowded market. These days I help pros build authority through content and brand-building. I wish someone had introduced me to direct response marketing a lot sooner.

Travis - [travisshepherd]
30+ years in facilities engineering and construction management. One year in building my exterior cleaning and painting business from the ground up in Indiana. Ask me about operations, leadership, and what it's like starting over.

Zach - [MTLcontractors]
General contractor, 20+ years in the trades. Ask me about managing full-scale renovations and creating content that actually builds trust with clients.

Rosie - [roselvaggio]
I'm a residential and commercial cleaning with (almost) 10 years in the business. I mostly help other pros with culture/retention, systems, and leadership development.

Simon - [TurfT]
I've spent nearly 20 years across electrical, cleaning sales, and lawn care. These days I help pros build AI-powered systems that handle the admin work most of us are still doing manually at 10 PM. I wish someone had shown me sooner how much time you can get back when your office runs itself.

Cory - [WiringByron]
I'm an electrician with 18 years in business and I love to help out other businesses with Systems / Tech stacks / Sales and Marketing.

Can we ask questions of specific home service professionals who have commented on this post?

  • Incredibly honored to be included alongside such an awesome lineup of coaches! Looking at the depth of experience here, I’m just excited to learn from everyone else as much as I am to share what I've picked up over the last 30 years in facilities and construction.

Starting fresh with my own exterior cleaning and painting business here in Indiana has been an amazing ride so far, and it’s a constant reminder that no matter how long you've been in the game, there’s always something new to learn.

If you ever want to talk shop about operations, leadership, or just the everyday grind of building something from the ground up, tag away. I’m always happy to help a fellow pro save some time or bypass a headache. Let's get to work! We got this!!!

  • I wouldn't try to compete with the person charging 1/3 of your price. I would focus on showing clients the value of choosing a professional business—reliability, communication, showing up on time, and providing quality service. The cheapest price isn't always the best service. You may also want to connect with property managers, realtors, landlords, and apartment communities because they may need ongoing junk removal services. Keep going—three months is still early, and you're building your name and reputation.

You're very welcome! 😊 I'm glad I could contribute to the conversation. I truly enjoy connecting, learning, and sharing with other business owners in this community. Wishing you continued success! 🙌🏾

  • Congratulations, Travis! 🎉 I really appreciate your willingness to share your experience with the community. It's encouraging to know that even after 30 years, you're still learning and growing. As someone who's building my own business, I know there's always something new to learn. I'll definitely be following your posts and hope to pick up some tips along the way. Thanks for being willing to help others, and best of luck with your business in Indiana! 👏🏾
