What works for monthly fixed-price clients who pay by transfer:
- Put all of them on the same invoicing option (fixed price, "Monthly on the last day of the month"). Without automatic payments, that creates an invoice reminder rather than an invoice, and the job moves into Requires Invoicing on that date.
- On the 1st, go to Invoices, More Actions, Batch Create Invoices, and tick everyone. Jobber makes one draft per client (it combines a client's jobs onto one invoice unless their properties have different tax rates). It only picks up jobs whose reminder date has arrived.
- Watch the incomplete-visits box. They're left out by default; if you tick them, Jobber marks them complete.
- Spot-check two or three drafts, then send the lot with batch deliver.
One catch on fixed-price jobs: anything you add to an individual visit doesn't carry onto the invoice, so bill extras separately.
For anyone reading this from the UK, US or Canada: Jobber Payments, and so automatic payments, is only available in those three countries, which is why autopay isn't an option here.

Depending on your Jobber Plan, you can get invoices automatically created/processed on any recurring schedule. Most of our customers are billed monthly on the 1st of each month and we process their payments with the card on file.

I don't want automatic payments as companies do not want to store payment method on file, they prefer to schedule payments via bank transfer themselves.
The other reason this will not work for us is that Jobber does not cater for the NZD currency.
What I am asking for is automatic issuing of invoices for certain customers on the last day of the month (or better have the option to choose which day). I am not asking for automatic payments.

You can still have invoices created automatically on a recurring basis and just not have automatic payments set up. I believe you would have to manually send the invoice via email/text though.
