  • Hi crownstar,

We own a junk removal service, JUNKKR, and are new to the industry. At this point, we are usually door-knocking around neighborhoods with higher income earners who either have more junk (retired residents especially) or are willing to pay the potentially higher prices associated with junk removal. We are trying to ask anyone who we talk to and that shows interest in out service if we may have their phone number so we may call back at a requested time when they are planning for a clean-out, and we simply put that info into a digital calender. Still testing the waters, ofcourse.

  • I’m in Florida, adding pressure washing to my property preservation business, anybody using a hot water pressure washer and any recommendations on one?

  • Great to see other junk removal and pressure washing business owners connecting here.

For anyone building a junk removal business, one thing that can help is making the service easy for customers to understand before they call. Clear information about the items you take, service areas, minimum charges, disposal fees, and how estimates work can reduce confusion and improve the quality of inquiries.

It also helps to build relationships with property managers, real estate agents, contractors, and local donation or recycling organizations. These connections can lead to repeat work while also creating better options for reusable and recyclable items.

For lead generation, I would focus on a strong local online presence, helpful service pages, consistent business information, customer reviews, and quick responses to calls or inquiries. Tracking where each lead comes from is also useful because it shows which marketing channels are actually producing booked jobs rather than just traffic.

What lead sources have been working best for everyone so far: referrals, Google, local partnerships, or social media?

  • I own a exterior cleaning business. I would be happy to give you some ideas for leads etc. Just let me know what your looking to accomplish.
