Young Contractor Focused on Growth & Systems

Hey everyone, I’m Andrew—owner of Rodgers Home Construction. I focus on residential renovations, additions, and building projects done right the first time. I’m big on running a tight operation with clear communication, solid systems, and delivering exactly what’s promised.

Right now I’m focused on leveling up the business side; estimating, job tracking, and building a team that takes pride in the work. I joined this community to connect with other contractors who are serious about growth. What’s one system or process that made the biggest impact in your business?

    Jobber Ambassador

Other than using Jobber to it's fullest extent (I could probably talk about utilizing the different functionalities in jobber which have all been game changers), I'd say our estimating process. I adopted this from Tom Reber's Contractor fight but basically we get their job details and pictures, and we have a phone conversation where we talk about how much their project could cost before I even consider coming out to their property. This has saved me so much time I can't even count TBH. People will ask you to tap dance around their house all day talking about what's possible but until we have some numbers to tie it to, it'll be a waste of time for you and the sticker shock of what you send them will scare them away.
