Took a job with little pay and it led to 3 bigger jobs!

I took a small painting job for this lady that could barely get around. She was so shocked that I was willing to move everything around to cover it with a helper I brought, and our it back after we finished. She had been so concerned that we were doing too much, but it really was nothing.

A day's work, and we could have done far worse for someone less sweet, and it ended up bringing in 3 bigger jobs that should keep us busy for a few weeks.

Never overlook the little people. I can't think of any reason you can't spend a day here and there on a smaller budget if you're doing OK with other jobs. The karma comes back around.

  • Awesome Sauce!! I always say that it’s the smaller things that counts the most which can lead to bigger things. I thank you and applaud you for what you did for her. Kudos to you!!

  • I respect this so much. I think a lot of us who have started our own business aren't only in it for the money. We are in it to help people and feel good at the end of the day. When you can do both, you have to feel good about that.

    Amazing work.

Our cleaning company offers complimentary services for people suffering from severe mental health issues quarterly. It's based on surveys and we choose 1. We have also provided free cleanings for cancer patients. Every time this has provided us visibility within the community or bigger opportunities! I call it having the attitude of abundance rather than scarcity. It hasn't steered us wrong yet!

Awesome Sauce!! Giving back to your community and assisting those less fortunate is blessing that you’ll get back ten times fold.

  • Its nice to hear that others will do this still. I always tried to take any job that was offered to me regardless of the size and it almost always led to more work for the same ppl or more work due to their friends, neighbors and or relatives. And to be able to help out those in need is something that will always be worth your effort! I stand by that all the way- it may not pay back in monetary ways everytime but it will (has always) always reward you in some way. Ive been extremely blessed to be able to witness the effects that kidness has on others! Keep up the good work-God bless
