Great question!! It can be hard to do during the growing season for me - so I try to schedule opportunities during the Winter months when my schedule is slightly more flexible.

I like that you've worked in some grace around schedule and seasons/cycles. Sometimes we may be in a learning season and sometimes we're in an doing season. These may correlate with the seasons of the year or our business and may be across larger time horizons like months or even years.

Hiring a coach is an amazing way to work on this and get the best out of yourself.

Make it a priority to work on you just as much as you work on the business. I’m always seeking knowledge. I refer to myself as a sponge. None of us know all so there is always something to learn.

Read an hour a day if possible on books/material related to business in general, sales skills and industry specific knowledge. I say if possible because an hour may be a lot every day but keeping your mind sharp by constantly learning new concepts and studying different ideas is one of the best investments you can make in your success.

Since having kids it has been hard for me to prioritize this as much as I used to. But I listen to audio books and podcasts while I am in the car/ cleaning/ or really any time. It has been amazing! I didn’t used to do audiobooks, but it’s the only way I have found to fit in my reading now.
Maybe when the kids get older I can go back to Paper books ;)
