Hi there! What I say is, "I have two types of consultations. One can be done over the phone, with videos, and this is free. For in-person consultations, I charge $100, it typically lasts 30 mins to an hour, and if you end up working with us, I just apply that consultation fee towards your first invoice."

I used to do free consultations and ended up wasting a lot of time/money. Now, even if the client doesn't end up booking with us, at least I got paid a little for my time. Hope that helps!
