We restructured our business at the start of this year, raised prices, cut what we didn't need, and created SOPs and systems to start making a profit. It's working but because of previous debts we are paying back things are more difficult.
Is your problem that you are at capacity without additional capital or you aren't getting enough customers without additional capital. If the latter, go door to door, park in parking lots with a sign. Do whatver it takes.

I am at capacity with current resources. because i take long to get paid by the time i get paid im covering the reoccuren charges/ overheads that pile up. Its more of a cash flow issue.

I would think for handyman services you can ask for payment same day. For construction projects, I don't know. But have you asked your bank for a line of credit? Instead of taking out a loan, they give you a line of credit that you use as needed but constantly pay off. They can also give you an advance on invoices and you pay a percentage of the invoice. This way, you only borrow what you need rather than trying to get a bigger loan. And, of course, try to work out a shorter payment schedule. With the revenue you have, it doesn't seem like the projects are big enough to have 30 day or 60 day payments. Why don't they pay within a week or two?

JObs that are completed in a single day should be collected onsite. Jobs that are up to 7 days or less require 100% of materials 50% of invoice in advance. Larger multiple week projects have to be divided into phases ( 3 weeks to complete is then a 3-phase project with payment due at start of next phase.) Use your client's money for free. Do not borrow to run you company.

Ok! Now we're getting somewhere. What's your average time to receive money in the bank? Is it mostly commercial or residential and is your payment cycle typical for your branch of the industry?
