Honestly for me it's a huge red flag when someone doesn't take at least 5 minutes to do some basic research on the company they're interviewing with. It shows a lack of initiative and attention to detail to tip the scale in their favor. But I would say for every 10 people I interview, maybe only 1-2 of them will actually Google our business name or what we do lol. That's why the first question I ask on an interview is "What can you tell me about Salazar Scoops?" lol. I think out of the 3 technicians I currently have, only one of them actually did some basic research and the other 2 had no idea what we did but they're still great team members!
