What are the best hiring platforms to find qualified workers?

What hiring platforms to you use to find qualified workers

I've done Indeed, craigslist, Facebook and other social ads. But no serious suiters.

The best thing that's been and always has worked is word of mouth from current employees. Any suggestions.................

You might want to look at your job posts. These are marketing just as much as you making an ad for a job. This means it needs to be positive and you need to highlight what the person can achieve by working with you, not just the money and not just what you want. For A players, you need to get them excited to work for you. I've had luck on indeed once I changed up my job posting.

  • Here are some different ways to get great employees.

Since employee word-of-mouth works best, put real money behind it with a tiered bonus: $100 at 30 days, $150 at 60 days, and $250 at 90 days. This incentivizes your current crew to recruit and train reliable people.

Call local vocational instructors. Ask for their top graduating students who show up on time and work hard.

See someone hustling at a hardware store, gas station, or landscaping site? Hand them your card and offer them a shot.

Nextdoor: Post on local neighborhood feeds for local, community-vouched talent.

In any ad, require applicants to start their message with a specific word (like "READY"). Instantly delete anyone who doesn't follow the instruction.
