Jobber Roadmap

I didn't find a topic that I thought fit to post this so I figured I would try here since I want some Insight. I came here from Housecall Pro. One of the things they had that I loved as a published website roadmap. That way we could see what type of items the Devs had planned and were working on. Not everything had a timeline on release but it at least let us know the devs heard us and would eventually implement it. That helped us know to stop asking for the same features over and over again. It also showed what had already been pushed out. So if you missed the publishing, you could still see the updates and feature releases there. They also had a form for you to submit ideas and then people could upvote it. That let others know if we were having the same problem to collaborate on work arounds and solutions while also letting the developers know what items were most wanted by the most people. We would have the ability to do most of that here easily with a simple Topic of "Feature Requests". I'm sure I'm preaching to the Choir here when I say we are too busy to call the success line every time we wish Jobber had a feature.

  • Hey Brandin, really appreciate you taking the time to write this out. You’re definitely not alone in wanting more visibility into what’s coming and a clearer place to share feature ideas.

Currently, this community forum is best suited for sharing workflows, workarounds, and how other pros are using Jobber day-to-day. For feature requests and product feedback, the best place to submit them is through our official feedback channels, so they’re shared directly with the Product team and tracked alongside broader customer feedback.

That said, convos like this are still valuable here! Hearing why a feature matters, how others are solving the same problem today, or whether others are running into the same friction helps surface patterns we can pass along internally.

Thanks again, feedback like this helps us keep improving how we listen and communicate.

Hey Brandin! That is valuable feedback. I can understand not having the time to call our Success Team every time you have a feature request.

Just to touch on what Julie said, if you do have feedback, feel free to send us a quick chat by going to the ? top right corner > chat with us or by going to more (in the mobile app) > support.

If your feature request is specific to an integration, you can go to the Apps tab > scroll down > Request an app.

Lately, please check out our Product updates page! It will show all of our new features, as well as our Jobber labs and beta features. Gear icon > Product updates.

Thanks for bringing this to the community!
