If you are noticing the Receives Messages field is defaulted to "OFF", I do recommend getting in touch with our Success Team, who can hop on a screen share to see how the Zaps are currently set up. You can call us at 888-721-1115 ext 1 or email support@getjobber.com
Moving forward, the quickest way to fix that field for the clients who have already been imported is by using the Client Import tool, so you can bulk update, rather than edit the clients individually.
In Jobber, go to the Clients tab > More Actions > Export Client list > open in Excel or another spreadsheet tool > change the value of that field - then back to Jobber > Clients > More Actions > Import client list. More information on that here.
