I add up all the fees at the end of the year, and use it as a tax write off. Is this a bad idea?

I add up the fees at the end of the year, take it as a tax writ-off, and get pissed about forking over thousands of dollars to a “partner” that provides such little service for such a big piece.

If it’s my comment you’re responding to, it’s an angry sarcastic reply about paying another middleman. Banks charge around 1.5%, depending upon the type of credit card used. Jobber payments (which I believe is privately branded STRIPE) just marks it up for the privilege of running it through the Jobber software I’m already paying for.
