We are actually dealing with the same issue... our thought have come down to this... We dont try to recover or surcharge for CC fees... but we do have shop supplies normally added into the cost of an invoice.. so we have calculated the fees into shop supplies formula...now if there was a way for a shop supplies line item to be calculated into the invoice automatically on a template... that would be great...
Yes you can create a template in quotes! When you are your quote dashboard, create a template that has this line item automatically populate. It works great for us!
Yes .. creating a template is the easy part. But a line item that is based on the percentage of the total bill. That's the challenging part. I don't see anyway to add a percentage variable for a part or service item..
If you could add a line item as a percentage variable. Problem solved
