Invoice Automations

Does anyone know how to create an Invoice automation to alert the client BEFORE the INV is due?

My invoices are NET 14, so I would like to create an automation that send the customer an email/ text saying something like "Hello, your INV is due in XX days, please make sure submit your payment before it is due". That way I can avoid having LATE invoices. 

The earliest I see you can send an INV automation is the day the INV is due.

    Is it possible to just change your payment terms to "Due upon receipt" ? josegrados​ 
    We give customers 24 hours to pay and then we charge their card if we do not receive the final payment.
