Jobber Mobile Invoices Not Sending

Hi guys! 

Has anyone experienced challenges when using the mobile version of the app regarding sending invoices? The issue I have is when I use my iPhone (Verizon) to send an invoice via text, my customer doesn't receive the invoice. Any suggestions or has anyone dealt with this? Thanks all!

  • This is a very common issue on the forum. It almost always comes down to strict mobile carrier spam filters (especially Verizon) dropping the text, rather than a bug with your iPhone.

    ​Here are the three fastest things to check to solve it:

    • ​A2P 10DLC Registration: In the US, all business apps sending text messages must be officially registered to prevent carrier blocking. Log into Jobber on a desktop, head to Settings > Two-Way Text Messaging, and make sure your registration is fully completed and approved. If it's not, Verizon will block it instantly.
    • ​Template Length & Intro: Keep your message short. Anything over 160 characters splits into multiple texts, and exceeding 320 characters drastically increases the chance that Verizon flags it as spam. Also, ensure your template explicitly starts with your name and business name so carrier filters see a clear sender identity.
    • ​"Unknown Senders" Filter: The text might actually be delivering, but hiding. iPhones have a feature that filters unknown senders. If your customer has this turned on and doesn't have your Jobber number saved in their contacts, the text gets silently dumped into a separate, muted tab in their Messages app.

    ​Quick Workaround: While you are sorting out your registration, use the Email option inside the mobile app to get that invoice over to them right away, or copy the link and text it from your personal cell.  Hopefully this helps clear up some of your issues!!!
