Your second point is the one Jobber doesn't do natively. The workaround I've seen described is to split it in two: one recurring job for the actual service visit, and a separate recurring entry purely for the annual payment. It's inelegant - two recurring entries per customer to maintain - but it decouples "charge them in March" from "show up in March", which a single recurring job can't do.
The first point is easier; invoicing the full year up front works fine off the quote. It's the renewal twelve months later that needs the above.
The bonus is the one I'd plan for deliberately rather than discover later. If the spot treatments are visits inside the package, nothing counts them against an allowance - the recurring job keeps generating them, and job costing will show time on site, but neither tells you this customer has used 4 of their included spot cleans with 7 months left on the term. If margin per package is the number you care about, track the included count somewhere from day one. Reconstructing it a year later out of visit history is miserable.
How did phase 1 go - did the warranty package end up launching?
