The short answer is no, Jobber cannot send automated texts from your personal cell phone number.
This isn't a Jobber limitation—it's a strict cellular carrier rule. Because Jobber sends messages over the internet, carriers require them to route through an official business line to prevent spam blocking.
However, you can completely solve the client confusion right now using two native features:
- Activate a Dedicated Phone Number: Go to Settings > Dedicated Phone Number to claim a permanent, local 10-digit number. Every text Jobber sends will come from this exact same number so clients can save it as your business contact.
- Turn on Call Forwarding: In your settings, link your personal cell phone to that dedicated number. If a client tries to call the text number, Jobber automatically routes the phone call directly to your personal phone.
