Great question, this can definitely be a bit tricky.
LukeE To block off time from online booking, it needs to be scheduled as a task or visit with set start and end times, not a calendar event, as events won’t prevent bookings.
SharkSpark If you’re still able to be booked during that time, a couple things to check:
- Make sure the task is assigned to the correct team member(s). If you’re trying to block off a full day or prevent any bookings during that window, it may need to be assigned to all relevant team members, depending on your booking setup.
- It may also be related to the recurrence of the task, if it’s set to repeat, it’s worth double-checking that the timing and pattern are aligning with when you’re trying to block availability.
This setup helps ensure that time is properly recognized as unavailable for scheduling.
