Scheduling a customer for an office visit

I'm floored that there is no "toggle" to select a customer address vs our office address for a job. Most of our work is done a a customers house, but we also have people come to our office quite regularly. I wish we had the ability to select "office visit" or one of the customers addresses. This software costs too much to need to do bandaids like putting our office address in as a customer address. I don't want to use tasks - just jobs. PLEASE speak up if this would help your business.

Hey DnRdog! Thanks for the feedback. Jobber is intended for "in-the-field" visits, but as we continue to grow, it's important to understand that different businesses have different workflows.

I recommend using custom fields or stating somewhere in the visit title that it is an office visit rather than an on-site visit.

To set up a custom field, go to the Gear Icon > Settings > Custom fields > Job custom fields > Add field. You can make it a text field to indicate its an office visit and not a on-site visit.

A faster workaround would be to go to the Job > scroll down to the visit > more actions > edit.

    We appreciate all the feedback.

For software that I spend thousands of dollars per year on, I am not interested in creating inaccurate Band-Aids. Even if I put office visit in the title, the automated visit reminders indicate that the work will take place at their home. We will be having potentially hundreds of office visits in a given year. If Jobber cannot handle a simple office visit, we will need to look elsewhere for software. I am absolutely floored that you make it sound as though we are the only people who have people in for office visits.
