What do you include on your business cards and when/where do you hand them out?

One side has my contact info and social handles. On the other side, instead of listing services I offer, it is a photo grid of projects I've worked on.
I get stopped on job sites regularly by people walking by asking for a card and will grab one from the truck when people ask.

Neat! Using a photo grid instead of a service list really sets your card apart and shows your work at a glance. Also, love that you're ready with cards on job sites—perfect timing for potential clients. 😎

I don't hand them out I ask if the person has an Iphone or Android phone so that i can just tap my Linq business card up against their phone so that they would receive all of my information and save me as a contact right there on the spot.

That’s a really innovative way to share your info! It must make the interaction quite convenient for both you and potential clients. Do you feel like using Linq helps with follow-up or staying top of mind compared to more traditional methods? Or is it a bit hard to tell?

I think it's a bit hard to tell, but I just think that nobody pays attention to the regular cards anymore. I'd rather be in the potential customers contact list as AB Finish Carpentry with all my social networks plugged in to the profile, than just another paper card in the wallet that nobody uses. But this is just me.

We always include our license information since it's required by the state. That's the most important item we never forget. From there we use a QR code, so we can direct the customer to the exact location of sign-up to whichever funnel we've allocated for that market.

Ooo, good call on including the license info—especially when it's a requirement! Adding a QR code for direct access to a specific funnel is a smart touch. Have you noticed an increase in signups or conversions with this setup??

I like to keep my business cards tidy and simple! I've noticed that more complicated cards can overwhelm the recipient, which can possibly lead to "messier" cards. It sounds crazy, but when designing my current card, I took a lot of inspiration from 'American Psycho'! I've since gotten many compliments, as well as a significant increase in calls!

Keeping it simple definitely makes a difference. There's something about a clean, well-designed card that leaves an impression. I love the 'American Psycho' inspo!

Simpler then better in my opinion. Handing out at networking events, friends/family, and customer leave behinds.

Simple is often the way to go! I love the look of your business card. Thanks for sharing! It sounds like you've found some great places to distribute your cards too.

My business cards feature my cell phone, my business email and our physical address and we recently incorporated a QR code which we had created which goes right to our request form on our website which is embedded with jobbers request form, this has been huge for us.
