Honestly, every time I have to bill, I find myself wanting to lower my prices because I feel bad for charging so much. But that does make us any money.
The amount of times I've looked at an estimate and gotten sticker shock from my own prices is insane, even though I pride myself on having the lowest possible rates in my state.
I agree with you haha like I look at what we charge and I just double down on the not wanting to pay someone to do anything.
We definitely need to charge our worth! If client's complain about my pricing, I tell them we may not be the best fit for them. I let them know we handle every aspect of their move and they can sit back and not worry about anything which is peace of mind for them. (We are Senior Move Managers downsizing, packing, unpacking, older adults when moving. We will also arrange donation drop off and pickup, cleaning companies, estate companies, junk removal, etc). This weeds out the clients who do not value our service.
