How do you explain a failed inspection to a client when the issue is minor?

I think it depends what the issue was. If its something that I overlooked, I would take accountability and tell them I will rectify the issue (We are only human). Sometimes also, I tell them certain inspectors look for certain things and even though we follow the minimum safety requirements which is the code book, the authority having jurisdiction (*inspector) can requests more work be done. Then I would obviously not charge for paying the inspector again and/or any minor issue that comes up.
