Just wondering why anyone would ask you to park around the corner? If it's an issue I'd look to solve it with upfront communication along the lines of:
"What to expect during our visit? We'll require vehicle parking close by so we can complete your service efficiently..." etc.
If you're happy being solo and want to stay that way, you can get away without any sort of signage or real branding.
However if you want to grow your business and have multiple vehicles/crews - you are missing out BIG TIME if you don't have fully branded vehicles! This is huge for brand recognition, which is a massive part of growing a successful business.
(We have branded vehicles and have never looked back... about to get our 3rd vehicle wrapped in coming months. It's not cheap, but it's HUGE exposure and visibility and helps keep you top of mind especially if you're a local service business. The effect multiplies the more vehicles you have on the road.)
