What's your go-to automated marketing stack?

Automation is the name of the game if you're looking to scale your business and there are hundreds (maybe thousands) of third-party tools that can automate marketing.

My current go-to stack (after a lead comes in) is;

Zapier -> Jobber (primary CRM) -> Mailchimp (initial email/lifecycle messaging)/Twilio (SMS messaging) -> SendJim (automated postcard messaging to prospects, customers and neighbors)

Would love to hear what everyone else is using.

Yes, at times I'll have to follow up with multiple calls or emails until the job/quote is booked.

I am going to research what Zapier can provide.

Thank you for the fantastic clarification. Love learning new things that help my everyday.

In my younger years, I was heavy into tech...I could build you a P386 that would knock the socks off Windows 3.1.

dhawkins can you break this down a bit for me (or anyone else that may need it)?

Currently, when I get a lead, I pick up the phone and call them (not to sound sassy).

      Sure thing, RichardM

Since leads typically get inundated with calls from multiple pros for projects, it's easy for them to miss calls.

Having multiple touchpoints (eg, calls, SMS messages, email messages) ensures customers won't forget who you are and increases the likelihood of quality engagement.

The tech we have access to today is easy to implement and could make a big difference for you.

      Normal Lead Journey
Step #1 - Leads comes in
Step #2 - Pro calls back (maybe reaches the customer, maybe books an estimate or nothing)
Step #3 - Multiple random phone calls during the day/evening to convert the lead

      Lead Journey with SMS Automation
Step #1 - Leads comes in (with SMS consent)
Step #2 - Pro calls back (maybe reaches the customer, maybe books an estimate or nothing)
Step #3 - Automated SMS message sent to customer with link for them to book an estimate (SMS messages have an avg open rate of 98% vs 22% for email)
Step #4 - Additional preset SMS messages sent to customer educating them on your services (links to videos/blogs/testimonials) along with option to book an estimate

With the automated process above, the customer may call back OR book their own estimate when they have time vs me randomly calling/emailing/text messaging.  Additionally, by adding in lifecycle messaging via email, you can continue to cultivate the customer for future work and/or referrals.

The goal with automation is to stay top of mind and staying top of mind leads to sales.
