Hi Hannah,
YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!
Google verification can be a real headache, especially for junk removal and other service businesses.
A lot of the problem is Google wants to make sure you’re a real business and not a fake/spam listing. A few things I’d check:
- Make sure your business name, phone number, and website match everywhere
- If you work out of your home or don’t have a storefront, make sure your profile is set up as a service area business
- Add photos of your truck, trailer, equipment, jobs, and anything with your business name on it
- Make sure your website, Facebook page, and Google profile all show the same info
- If they ask for video verification, show your work vehicle, equipment, business paperwork, and that you actually do the work
Google seems to be a lot stricter now with service businesses because of fake listings. I had trouble with mine too. Once I got everything matching and gave them enough proof it was a real business, it finally went through.
I hope this helps, and best of luck getting through the loops and hoops of Google!
