If Facebook and Instagram Are Linked, Will Posting from Jobber Automatically Cross-Post to Both?

Hi,

I am aware that the marketing feature within Jobber will help us automate posts to Facebook and Google. However, I was curious if anyone can confirm, if my Facebook and IG are setup to automatically cross post, will posting to Facebook from Jobber pass that post over to IG as well?

    As far as I remember from the testing I was a part of, social posting through Jobber is only available to Facebook and Google and IG was in the works

    I have a setting within Facebook and IG that whatever I post in one gets automatically posted to the other. I was curious if that will work when posting from Jobbers marketing suite.

    Hey Alex, solid question! 

    Short answer: No. Posting from Jobber will not automatically cross-post to both FB and IG.

    Marketing Suite's Social Posting feature supports publishing to FB and Google Business Profile, but IG is not supported for automatic cross-posting. If you want content on IG, you would need to post to IG separately.

    Yes, as long as your cross-posting settings are properly configured inside Meta Business Suite, posts published to Facebook through Jobber will automatically cross-post over to your linked Instagram account.

    ​Here are a few quick things to double-check to make sure it goes through smoothly:

    • ​Meta Business Suite Settings: In your Facebook Page settings (under Connected Accounts / Meta Business Suite), ensure that your Instagram Professional account is fully connected and that "Share all Facebook posts to Instagram" is toggled on.
    • ​Image Requirements: Instagram requires an image or video for every post. If you publish a text-only update from Jobber to Facebook, Meta will skip cross-posting it to Instagram.
    • ​Aspect Ratios: Stick to standard square (1:1) or vertical (4:5) image formats so your Jobber posts don't get awkwardly cropped when Meta pushes them over to IG.

    ​If those connections are active in Meta, Jobber’s Facebook integration will trigger the cross-post to Instagram without you needing to do any extra steps!!!
