How are you implementing Ai into your business?

Greetings everyone!

I run a Tree Service in the Mid Atlantic region and we are seeing so much every week on "Ai" my question to everyone is how are you installing Ai into your business to improve your workflow and make things more efficient?

Stay cool out there!

  • I think one of the best uses of AI is helping small business owners think through decisions before spending time or money. It doesn’t replace professional advice, but it can help you become much better prepared before talking to an expert

  • We use AI regularly in our business. Our current breakdown looks like this: CompanyCam for AI-assisted walkthrough notes. Chat GPT for estimate writing support. We then take that estimate and stress-test it with Claude for accuracy and then toss it back into ChatGPT. Maybe it seems overkill, but it really helps us understand that numbers quickly, and since we are custom builders, there are tons of variables. Gemini for meeting summary notes and action items during our weekly meeting (just join a Google Meet and video recording off) as well as email writing/editing. We also use Claude/ChatGPT to help us create a plan for social content planning and Canva for quick creation as well as design renders. Definitely helped us dramatically increase our output capacity.

I just made a post about using Plaud but check that out. It's a GAME CHANGER. I've also used manus to build a Virtual assistant dashboard. I also use chat gpt as our company brain to build quotes.

My husband was just telling me about Plaud. Going to find your post to see how you use it!

We use a lot of video and AI.

Video with a client about a job - then the AI quotes the job from the video / can also do many other things from the video (whatever you like- you can prompt)
Video application for a job - then the AI gives me a full report on the applicant and whether I should interview further.

We have AI pricing on our website for clients to describe their project and then they get a bunch of really good info and a price as well.

AI Agents doing some Jobber tasks for me as well.

Doing some vibe coding as well and tying a few things into Jobber using the API and that’s all through AI.

What gaps in your business or what things are you trying to make better by using AI??

  • As a small business owner, AI has been a game changer for me. I don’t have a large office staff, so I use AI to help with estimates, customer communication, scheduling, marketing, social media, and planning projects. It helps me work faster, stay organized, and present a more professional image while allowing me to spend more time serving my customers. I believe AI won’t replace good service—it helps us provide even better service.

  • As someone who's newly into starting my business. I've used it to help me quote clients properly and how to create ads and content. It's helped me out immensely.

  • I’m still learning how to use AI better in my business, but it has already helped me a lot with staying organized, writing clearer messages to customers, working through estimates, and keeping up with day-to-day communication.

For a small handyman business, there are a lot of moving parts — scheduling, materials, customer questions, follow-ups, invoices, and trying to keep everything straight while also being out in the field doing the work. Anything that helps me communicate better and save time is a big help.

I’m interested to keep learning how other service businesses are using it too.

  • Personally, I enjoy AI for marketing and ads for social media etc. I too, find it helpful when needing to know an answer to something... a little guidance! Fast research. I'm sure I've barely scratched the surface of what AI can all do!

I use AI to help me sanity check everything. It helps write personalized pitches to venues. I've used it to help create my business plan, website, and blog posts. I'm thinking about hiring an AI secretary to handle all of the calls I'm getting to my business line while I'm at work. (It seems like all spam. Lol.) It helped me create a decent qualification form and work flows associated with that. It's also made some really cool video and images to use on my socials. Gemini is the best when it comes to finding prospective businesses to fill my pipeline. It will convert all available contact info sourced onto a spreadsheet, too. Talk about time saving! AI has basically been my business bestie and sometimes cheerleader.
