A fixed-dollar member discount per line item, instead of a percentage, would keep your invoices ending in 5 or 0. The harder part later is usually keeping the CSR, the tech and the invoice in agreement about who is still a member and at what price. How are you planning to handle members whose agreement lapses but who still call in expecting the member rate?

Lapse is one of those things you have to catch before the call, not during it. By the time they are on the phone asking for the member rate, your CSR is either going to honor it or have an awkward conversation, and both of those cost you.
What worked for me was flagging the agreement about a month out, while there is still time to sell the renewal. Then the lapse is a renewal conversation instead of a pricing argument.
The fixed-dollar discount is good advice by the way, that solves the rounding thing cleanly.

“Catch it before the call, not during it” is the right way to think about it. Flagging a month out turns it into a sale instead of an argument. Is that flag something Jobber does for you, or does someone have to remember to check the list?

Not that I have found. I checked the automations and the date-based ones only cover quotes and invoices, and custom fields have no date type, so nothing watches an agreement end date. The workaround I would use is a task. When someone signs up, add a task on their client profile dated a month before the agreement ends and call it Renewal call. It lands on the calendar and shows in the app, so it surfaces by itself instead of relying on someone to check a list. It is one task per member to set up, so it holds fine up to a few dozen. How many members are you carrying?
