What would you like to see added/changed in Jobber to make your life easier?

I own and run a one-man RV inspection and mobile repair business in North Carolina.  I've been using Jobber for 2 years and it's been the best FSM I've used so far but it's not perfect.  Here are some things I'd like to see added/changed in Jobber to make my life easier.

  1. On a job that has multiple operations, I'd like to be able to lump all the parts and labor for a single operation together.  This is commonly done at automotive shops and gives the customer a view of what each operation costs.
  2. In NC, if a part that's installed is taxable, so is the labor to install it.  For this reason, I must have separate labor services, one for non-taxable and one for taxable.  This gets to be tedious when you take a call from a client not knowing what you will get into and use the non-taxable service by default only to discover after being on the job that you need to use parts that are taxable and then you have to change the labor type.  I'd like to see a Taxable check box next to each item on the invoice that can be marked or changed as needed.  I enter my products and classify them as taxable or not and this doesn't usually change.  It's the labor that can change.
  3. I would like the ability to customize my dashboard with the information that's important to me.  For instance, I'd like to add Products and Services to the dashboard for easier access since I'm in there all the time.  QBO does this.
  4. A-la-carte feature pricing.  I hate paying for things I don't use.  The feature packages are getting expensive and the next level has features I'll never use but has one or two that are very good.  Let me pick and choose the features I want and price the package accordingly.

These are a few things that have been bugging me.  What features would you like to see added/changed?

Our business requires a site visit to get the project scope and provide a quote. Being able to have some type of ability to use voice to put together a quote on the drive back to the office would save sooo much time and get quotes to clients quicker

You can easily use AI to do estimates  this and make a zap for them toto be completed I believe. Also, you can template most estimates out and create "Similar Quotes" and/or "Jobs" to send within seconds.

Controlled by voice though? I’m talking about a button you just press in the app and audibly say what actions you want to happen

”create quote for X client, add X product with quantity of X”

That sounds a bit fancy. As you know, ALL softwares have limitations, although that is ALL going to be changing very soon. Companies that can't keep up will be left in the dust with all of the AI changes currently being implemented. They will pull further and further away at a rapid pace.
That's on the reasons I love Jobber so much. They've done a great job advancing new features while still keeping an eye on the basics.
