To apply a change order to an existing job without creating a new quote in Jobber, follow these steps:
- Edit the Job: Open the job in Jobber, select "Edit," and adjust the existing line items to include the new work or products required.
- Add Internal Notes: Include a detailed note specifying the change order, outlining any additional work, products, or costs. This helps maintain clarity for both the office and field teams.
These adjustments keep all job changes centralized, avoiding the need for a separate quote.

so how are they going to approve. The existing job already has a price so if additional info be added the price will change, Yes or NO? I prefer to add change orders under the same job

Hey Glorious Air Team! Thanks for your question, we have a few ways to do this. One suggestion would be to edit the Job directly, leaving the Quote as is, if you require a new signature, you can collect one using the Jobber app in the field - here are the steps.
Another option would be to go to the Quote > More Actions > Create Similar Quote. This will create a new Quote, but you do not need to start over from scratch.
