FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!

Why does Jobber keep changing the dashboard instead of fixing the basics?

Is anyone else frustrated that Jobber keeps rolling out dashboard changes while some core features still don’t work properly?

I’m all for improvements, but at a certain point it feels like energy is going into cosmetic updates instead of fixing the basic functionality people rely on every day.

For those of us actually running jobs, managing teams, quoting, scheduling, and trying to keep operations tight, reliability matters more than a new layout.

I’d rather see them focus on:

  • fixing existing bugs
  • improving speed and stability
  • making core workflows smoother
  • addressing long-standing feature issues users have been bringing up for a while
  • updating their lagging Ai features that barely work

Am I the only one feeling this way, or are others seeing the same thing?

What features or issues do you think they should prioritize before changing the dashboard again?

  • It honestly doesn't matter. Jobber doesn't listen to it's users, hence they are working on the UI yet again and why no one can see what they are working on and for us to vote on features. No way to see what Jobber is working on, unless you are lucky enough to be a part of the labs, which is usually underwhelming and not showing the full picture. I want some real features, have requested for years, will never happen. Quotes need a way to bundle services, need a flat rate pricebook, need a pricebook with categories, need customer asset tracking, need forms on requests, need forms to include inspection items such as pass, fail, flag and color coded, customer portal needs document/picture center for customers, pipeline for jobs not just sales, never have I thought, man Jobber needs to work on the UI more.

I could not agree more !! smpelectric  I've tried to reach out several times to discuss this, but was basically blacklisted.

They’re now on their second attempt at implementing AI, and it’s still at the most basic level, while other companies are rapidly advancing. You can see why ServiceTitan is a $6 billion dollar, publicly traded company at this point, while Jobber tries to catch up.

Although I'm not really pushing for more AI till they can add some features that move the needle for me I can understand the usefulness if they worked on it. More so than always working on UI. I think Jobber just keeps showing us that they want to stay as basic and beautiful as it's always been and if we want more features then we should go elsewhere. It's just a shame because with so many years in Jobber, it's not an easy move. They add things that don't really help me, I use Jobber for quotes, jobs and invoicing, I never needed it for websites or marketing, I can get that anywhere. But doing quotes on other programs to transfer over is a needed feature I would think Jobber could work on.
