Are there any general contractors/remodelers using Jobber? My plumber and electrician use it but it's a lot simpler for them to produce a quote then me. Just curious how easy and or productive it is to produce a detailed quote for a complete remodel for instance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, and paint plus my materials and labor for framing and finish etc.
I’m new to jobber and trying to find a better way to do quotes, was a difficult task elsewhere, there no standard rates for quotes as every job is different in multiple ways, I guess my question is how are general contractors using jobber? First time user as well.
I use jobber! I love it. One thing I'll say is your probably not going to have a standardized price book. At least I haven't figured it out yet. The one thing I'll say jobber is lacking is a production schedule type function (like job tread) but you can ad your subs as users if you use the same ones and you can use it like that. For creating quotes, I basically use jobber with Chat GPT to get everything organized. Chat GPT knows my charge rates, I can have speak directly to it and have it build me something I can copy and paste directly in to jobber. I can also ask it to produce a production schedule I can add to the notes and also look over to make sure it's charging correctly. I was going to make a video on it. Keep an eye out for it in the forum.
