How to change the quantity of optional line items in a Jobber quote?

On the optional line items is there any way to make them so that the customer can change quantity.  So for instance we are a electrical contractor and as an option they could add dimmers but that is something they would pick the quantity to so like I would put qty. as 1 and they could change it.

No — customers cannot change the quantity of optional line items in a quote in Jobber.

Optional line items allow customers to turn the option on or off, but the quantity itself cannot be edited by the customer. The quantity must be set by you when creating the quote.

However, there are a few practical workarounds contractors use.

    Workaround (Most Common)

Create multiple optional items with different quantities.

    Example:

    Optional items:

    Dimmer Switch – Qty 1

    Dimmer Switch – Qty 2

    Dimmer Switch – Qty 3

    Dimmer Switch – Qty 4

Customers simply select the quantity option they want.

This works well for items where the quantity range is predictable.
