Jobber, please consider this change
Currently, when a customer books a service request, there is a fixed timeframe for what the job entails (for plumbing). For example I have a water heater replacement set to 3 hours. That's to give an in-person estimate, pick up a new tank, replace the old one and dispose of it. All done from the same visit as the initial request.
So my current process through Jobber is to go to the house, convert the request to a quote. Customer accepts. Then I convert the quote to a job. At this point I can create a job and leave it unscheduled (what I usually do), or take time to schedule it over the request slot. Either way its goofy and cumbersome.
Instead, can we have a "Do it now" button that automatically either overwrites the request on the schedule or puts the job on the schedule for the same timeframe as the request?
Also, can we have an option to clear the schedule for new bookings when the job is complete? Example: If I have an all-day job scheduled from 8am - 5pm and the job is completed at noon, customers can book an appointment online from noon-onward. Currently, I have to go into the schedule and manually change the job's hours to allow new bookings.
Thanks team!
