Optional Items in quote PDFs look weird?

Why are optional items displayed in this grayed out, muted way on the PDF version of quotes?

Non-optional items are dark text with a white background and are really easy to read. I can't think of a sensible reason that optional items wouldn't also be easy to read...

Does anyone else think this is weird?

    Hi cwininger,

That’s a really fair callout, and I can definitely see how that would feel a bit odd from a readability standpoint.

The intent behind the muted styling is to visually differentiate optional items from standard line items, so customers can quickly understand what’s included versus what’s additional or selectable.

That said, I hear your point that if it becomes harder to read, it may be working against that goal. Usability and clarity should definitely come first.

I’d be happy to pass this feedback along to the team. Out of curiosity, have you had any customer feedback on this as well, or is this more from your internal review? Also, how are the PDFs used in your workflow? The more understanding of the use case, the better our team can improve the experience.
