Thanks for flagging this, I can see how that change would be confusing for customers at first.
Optional line items are now shown with a checkbox rather than being explicitly labeled as “optional” on the quote. The intent is to make it clearer that customers can actively choose which items they want included, but we understand that without the label, it can require additional explanation on your end.
I’ll make sure this feedback is shared with the product team. Clarity on quotes is really important, especially when customers are making decisions on their own.
In the meantime, some customers find it helpful to add an item description explaining that checked items will be included; descriptors such as 'premium' or 'gold standard' are often used in this regard.
