Request: Include Cost Entry in Quotes to Calculate Estimated Profit

When converting a request into a job or creating a job directly, there’s an option to enter costs, which helps us estimate profit. However, this option isn’t available when creating a quote.

It would be really helpful to have the ability to add costs while creating a quote so we can clearly see our estimated profit upfront.

  • hi Kevin_G Thanks for the question.

You should be able to add costs to your quotes in Jobber! When editing a quote, click on the Unit Price for a line item, then select Add Costs. From there, you can enter your material, labor, or other costs to see your estimated profit before sending the quote.

You can find more details in this help article: Markups on Quotes.

    Hope that helps!
