Tiered Line Items/Products

Hey all! I run a fence company and we do mostly residential work. Many jobs are smaller and require a price change to the line item as we cannot do a 5’ job for the same price per foot as a 300’ job.

I NEED TIERED PRICING FOR MY LINE ITEMS!! Badly. It is a huge pain to manually change my prices.

Are there any plans within Jobber to provide tiered pricing within line items? Doesn’t seem like it would be that difficult to program. If-Then.

  • Hey Red River Fence OK! Thanks for the question.

Depending on the outcome you are looking for, we might be able to achieve this by using Quote Templates and Optional Line items.

Quote templates can help you build your tier system, so you do not need to manually make changes. The optional line items can help you present your options in the form of packages or tiers.

  • I’m not really interested in placing 5 different price tiered line items in my templates. I’m not trying to be difficult, but I already have a “Good, better, and best” option within my templates that my clients can choose from.  I would literally have to place 15 line items within those options and then we haven’t even discussed weather the client has existing metal posts or tear-out charges.

Bottom line is; we would spend just as much time deleting the line items we dont need as we do changing the price.

Anyway, I just wanted to put it out there that a tiered price line item would be super helpful.
