DELETED USERS INSTEAD OF LEAVING DEACTIVATED

I deleted two users. How could I recovery the users and their history of task/ visits performed?

    I am sorry this happened. At the moment, there is not a way to recover users or their history once they have been deleted. Deactivated users keep their records visible, but deleted users are removed permanently.

    That said, I would really like to understand a bit more about what you were trying to do, and what information you were hoping to keep. If you can share a little context about your workflow and what you expected to happen, I will pass that feedback along to our product team. We want to make sure this experience is clearer and better supported in the future.

  • Hi Krista, Thank you for your response. I don't understand why the history of work done for clients is deleted when the user is deleted. What I need to know is which jobs were done for specific clients. Even the schedule was deleted; it's not recorded, even when the person who performed the work is no longer a system user. I need to see the jobs done by my company in August, September, and October. Is there any way to generate a report of all the jobs done by my company during those months? Thank you for your support.

    Thanks for explaining, and I completely understand why this feels alarming.

    To clarify what gets removed when a user is deleted, the user profile and their assignment history are removed permanently, so you will no longer see that person as the assigned user in places like the schedule or team filters. However, the jobs your company completed should still exist in your account, tied to the clients and properties. What is lost is the link to the deleted user, not the client work itself.

    Here are a couple ways you can pull everything your company did in August, September, and October.

    Option 1, Jobs report by date range
    Go to Reports.
    Open the Jobs report.
    Set the date range to August 1 through October 31 for the year you need.
    Filter by job status, usually Completed, if you want only finished work.
    You can then export the report to CSV or PDF.

    This will give you a full list of jobs completed in that window, regardless of whether the original user still exists.

    Option 2, Jobs list with filters
    Go to Jobs.
    Use Filters.
    Set Completed date to the same August 1 through October 31 range.
    Apply any other filters you want, for example by client or job type.
    You can export the filtered list as well.

    Option 3, Visits report if you need the schedule view
    If what you are really after is the visit and schedule history, go to Reports and open the Visits report.
    Set the date range to August 1 through October 31.
    Export from there.

    Even if the assigned user was deleted, visits and jobs should still show as company work for those dates, they just may not show a staff name anymore.
