Although annoying, I dont see this getting changed on the Jobber end. As it was mentioned above, the field tech can still send an "on the way" text message without the adjusted permissions I believe. Anything other than the "on the way" message may just need to be sent as a regular text message outside of Jobber. In some cases, it may be better to just call the customer and verbally discuss the topic. As you know, the verbal phone call can be dialed out right from the Jobber app.
