Hey everyone. I am new here, I just retired from being a firefighter after25 years do to medical reasons. I am still way to young to officially "retire" and collect anything. So I am wanting to start my own land clearing business, However I see the prices on equipment are way to obtainable for me as a start up. But I do have one question about tract loaders/skidsteers I know every video I was they all have a tract loader. But is there any chance buying a used skidsteer with tires could help start this business at wayless of a start up cost? Maybe not use it for mulching but maybe do some brush hogging with it? the second part is to try to make money with something that wont hurt my back so bad and to get the capital to start this business my brother was thinking of a mowing business. Not landscaping but just mowing. Bad boy mowers has very good pricing. I have seen reviews on youtube but many them are paid to say so. Anyone have experience with bad boy mowers? what are some good things some bad things. What brands do you feel they are better than?

I personally love my exmark with its unbeatable cut quality! While my Ferris is unmatched with a comfortable ride but cut quality is lacking! Is there a washable paint that gives a flat look without the premium price?
Why use the best paint?? I'm seeing a trend in the industry where customers want a flat look to their walls, especially in nice homes, but they always want washability at the same time. My only solution here is use Benjamin Moore regal, top line paint. But that's about 200 bucks more for every 10 gallons. Without using semigloss or satin, is there an eggshell paint that does this in a lower price?

Everybody says the same thing: “Just buy a used truck, it’s cheaper.” Yet, That same truck breaks down 3–6 months later. Now your jobs are delayed. You’re borrowing vehicles from your spouse or rental. You’re stressed out and behind on bills. And suddenly the “cheaper option” is costing you way more. Here's my personal take: You quit your job ... You are betting 100% on yourself, to care for your livelihood. If you’re betting your whole future on this business — why risk it with a vehicle that might leave you stranded? I hate blaming others, or the lack of accountability. So if I can control one variable — like my ability to show up to the job, that will pay me for my services... I’m going to do it. But that's just my opinion. My hot take, What do you all think?
