Buy a used truck now or wait until we can afford a new one?
We are a small Junk Removal company operating with a single truck. Our current dilemma is whether we should purchase a used truck now and put the extra money into repairs, or to wait a bit longer until we can afford a new truck that won't need repairs right off the lot. Let's chat about your favorite tools or products as a detailer and why. I'll go first. Scrub Ninja / Scrub Pad: I love these for cleaning textured surfaces in interiors. It covers a lot of area and cleans out the textured areas quickly. I use them on leather seats a lot and love using them to clean out the messes that get caught in speaker grills. Rinsless Wash: I'm currently using McKee's N914 in my unite but most Rinsless wash products are great. We use it to clean most interiors because it's effective and safe on all materials inside vehicles and the dilution ratio's are crazy good. I also use it to was the exterior of vehicles. It's just a super safe and versatile product.Should I lease or buy a work vehicle?
We at GB Plumbing decided to lease our first work vehicle as we thought we wouldn’t be growing or doing much besides having 1 truck. But once things got busier, and we had to start hiring more, we had to buy a truck pretty quickly to keep up with the demand of work, and same for our third vehicle.
