Hey Zane,
One way to keep Jobber simple is not to send every service through the same booking process.
For standard services like maintenance details, customers can choose an option and book directly. For paint correction, ceramic coating, PPF, boats, or aircraft, I’d use a short quote form asking about the asset, condition, desired result, location, and photos.
I’d also organize services around outcomes customers understand instead of showing a long list of technical packages. Customers usually know the problem they want solved, even if they don’t know which service they need.
For less tech-savvy customers, keep each message focused on one next step and send quotes by text when possible. They shouldn’t need to learn Jobber. It should simply make communicating with your business easier.
