Are you charging deposits on standard service quotes, or sticking to pay-upon-completion?

With material costs shifting and scheduling calendars filling up, securing commitment upfront makes a huge difference in cash flow and no-show prevention.

How are you handling quote deposits or job approvals with new clients? Are customers pushing back on upfront deposits in your area, or has it helped weed out non-serious leads?

I always require a 50% deposit and a card on file for every quote sent out. And our quotes are typically the initial clean up + prepayment for recurring services in that month. It's helped a ton for cash flow, setting expectations that we're a prepaid subscription like Netflix and minimize the tire kickers who don't want to pay.
